Right lung burning sensation

Posted by vegita182 @vegita182, Jan 11 12:22am

I’ve had a right lung burning sensation that comes and goes throughout the day for over a year along with fatigue and feverishness that also comes and goes. One sputum sample just came back positive for MAC, has anyone else experienced this?

What is your diagnosis?

bronchiectasis with chronic infection/ inflammation from the bacteria I am colonized with.

Sounds similar to mine. Just the right side? I notice it will start to burn then I feel congested. If I’m able to clear the mucous the burning stops until the process repeats.

Yes, me too. I feel congested and heaviness in the right lung around noon. That is the time that I do airway clearance and after clearing mucus, I feel lighter and less congested. I read that it is infection & inflammation.
