I have the same question, but i do wear hearing aids. I find that am stations are very clear from the internet to a good speaker with bluetooth. But, that kind of setup repeatedly is interrupted/shutdown by other apps and programs. Its also bulky to move around the room and keep the clarity.
I had a nice inexpensive Radio Shack plug-in am/fm radio for a couple decades that was nice a clear, but it finally lost its clarity lately. Radio Shack is no longer with us and a used item would be just as old in all likelihood. To make it more complicated i am not able to pay for the big names like Bose. I just want to have a simple am/fm to plug in that i can hear and understand in my 2-room apt. 🧐

I often listen to a Walkman portable radio by plugging in a neckloop and using the telecoils in my hearing aids. It is a clear as a bell. This OLD technology works very well. Sadly, those little portable radios are not easy to find. However, found mine on eBay and paid a mere $8 for it some time ago. Worth looking for. You might find a neckloop in eBay or Amazon too. They cost around $50 and will plug into any device with an audio input jack.

People who sell hearing aids should tell their clients about these options AND also have the equipment to demonstrate them.

Do you have telecoils in your hearing aids? If so, do you know how to use them?
