Unfortunately, there is apparently no cure. You have to treat the symptoms. Suggest you get on the Facebook forum for Grover's Disease and read Bryan Lewis' extensive research on the subject. The relief from symptoms varies with no one thing working for everyone. I got relief for 13 years taking 300 mg of Gabapentin every night and then it just quit working three years ago. Have been itching in various degrees since then. I get by using Eucerin Itch Relief after showers and taking Hydroxyzine every night to get sleep. NB UVB light treatments may have helped a little. Good luck and be careful with steroids.

13 years: my goodness! So sorry for you ! At least in my case I can sleep at night. So, just treating the symptoms, that's it. In a study on the monoclonal antibody like Tralokinumab (I'm in the eleventh week) one reads that even this drug after 16 weeks was able to IMPROVE symptoms. (https://academic.oup.com/bjd/article-abstract/190/Supplement_2/ii46/7601624) . "Let's go on with patience" doctors at the hospital tell me. ...A lot of patience.
Thanks for your reply. And, as we say in Italy ...andiamo avanti!
