Why Camzyos instead of surgery?

I was diagnosed with HCM
Because of the distance i live from Mayo 400+ miles it was suggested myectomy would be a better option.
They pit me on camzyos to get me to feeling better, 122mmHg gradient on stress test.
After 4 weeks on camzyos im riding my mountain bike 10+ miles 70% improvement on gradient!
Alcohol ablasion was not recommended because of my active life style! If i was in my 70’s it would be a great way to go!

Please do not let distance be a factor in going to Mayo. People travel to there from all around the world, participants in this blog included. Rochester MN is a 2-3 day drive from home, was important to be there.
