So joyful for the next three months…my PET/CT scan came out NED and my C125 numbers went from 178 in November to 31 as of this week. I know that my stage 3c Ovarian cancer is not cured however I’m joyfully enjoying the good works of my caring oncologist. I gave a talk in my parish called “Choose Joy.” I’m doing my best to take my own advice!!!

Congratulations on your good reports. I think every victory or improvement is reason for gratefulness, joy, and celebration. I love the title and subject of the talk you gave at your parish because I have learned through my experiences and situations that joy truly is a choice. And every day, no matter what the day brings, I try to choose joy, as I have found that joy always beats sadness and despair. Best wishes to you!
