Good morning all
I guess to comment I would need to know what condition someone has. I was fused at L4 - S1. The original doctor that did the fusion paralyze me and left me a chronic pain I got tired of finding the right combination so my pain doctors in Oregon were fantastic and offered me first Boston stimulator that alone did not work. So they added Medtronic Painpump. In the Pump they had Dilaudid with bupivacaine mix. I had a life was doing well. I did not like the Boston stimulator so they moved me to the Nevro HF 10 which I really liked, but you have to have the right programmers work with you when I move to Texas, that all changed a terrible programmers After I had the implants I was down to 75 mg of Lyrica three times a day no oral narcotics and once in a while, I would take baclofen if my back was pretty bad that day. I hope this help someone and may God bless all those folks that are struggling even worse than we are.

Regarding CBD and THC: my son, who worked at a dispensary in Portland OR for many years, says that THC activates CBD, so the highest level of THC that you can tolerate will have the best results. If you are taking it orally and do not want to get high, this may take some experimentation. (My son says chewing black peppercorns will bring you down from an unwanted high.)

If you are applying topically, an unwanted high is not a concern. I use weed with a THC of 25%, more or less, in a homemade salve that also contains CBD oil and numerous herbs. I use it every day for my lower back pain, and it helps, but it does not work for all kinds of pain.

OTOH, lots of people seem to find relief from products that only contain CBDs, so try everything!

I don't want anything with THC anymore. I smoked for many years and am like Obelix who fell into the cauldron 🙂 CBD is fantastic and the products from Weedborn are the best on the market! After many failed attempts with other brands I finally found this brand. The products at Weedborn are the best and I don't think I will ever have to look for another CBD supplier again.

THC in marjiuana is what causes the psychedelic head high and it helps with pain I also found.

Sounds like they've tried everything on you except the Kitchen Sink. I hope you also take some meds for your Mental Health as Depression, Anxiety, Panic and PTSD disorders usually accompany the Physical ailments. Once again Surgery makes the original problem worse. You've been through the wringer and are still battling to achieve some Quality of Life. Good Luck with all your future care and you will be in my prayers as are All Pain Patients. Have you tried Medical Marijuana or THC/CBD?

I just starting taking Diclofenac Sodium Topical Gel 1% and soon as starting using it on my spine and hip my pain was reduced to a level 2. The first night I used it I had the best sleep I've had in two years and I didn't even realize I didn't have any pain that would suddenly wake me up in the night and I have to jump out of bed. It's worth trying as it's working for me and maybe we can help you all with your night pain or just pain. If you read about this drug you'll find that they only suggested using it for knee, ankle and hands, but there have been some treatment for back. It is for joints and your back has many.

I use both the topical gel & systemic Diclofenac for quite a while, it has been the most effective treatment I've found so far. I think the stuff is a miracle!

I'm probably wrecking my kidneys & liver., however.. but it helps w/ the pain, & my prescribing Dr. keeps an eye out for any warning signs.

I take 2 -50mg pills a day, & use the gel when needed. (which seems more & more often. 💩)

Just remember to not drive your vehicle unless you can control how you feel after the feeling set in.
