Side effects of 4 medicine regimen Dara VRd or Isa VRd
I have recently been diagnosed with MM and my first week of 4 medicine regimen starts next week. Does it cause fatigue, nausea, pain, constipation or diarrhea or any other side effects? If you had any, how long/how many days did you have it? Was it there only the first time or every time? Please share your experience, thanks.

Anytime we start a new regimen of medications, there can be a widely varied response. At times, it feels instant, other times it may take a while to see any side effects. Remember, your, body is going to be getting used to new things being introduced to it. And, if you are already taking any other medications for other health concerns, that may have an affect on you. Have you discussed with your medical team, the best time of day to do these medications, etc.
I have been on Revlimid since August 2021, and ixazomib [Ninlaro] since August 2024. My treatments are coordinated with kidney dialysis, so there have been concessions made.

Thank you for taking time to reply. Yes, I do take medicine for Diabetes.
Did you do the BM transplant as well? I hope you didn't get MM back after Dara VRd or IsaVRd.
@jaysanth2025 No, I did not do a bone marrow transplant or stem cell transplant. I am not eligible because of coexisting health concerns. Is that something that is in your treatment plan from your doctors? Please make sure that you come back here and talk to us about any concerns you have, and questions. There are many of us who have gone through different types of treatment plans and can offer you support. Remember that what works for one, may not work for somebody else. Keep that in mind as you read comments and figure out what is going to work best for you. Sometimes we have to try several different things. If you are so inclined, make sure you write down your symptoms and side effects as they come to you, so that you can talk to your doctors.

Sure. It is in my plan but not confirmed, and doctor said its totally up to me to decide because some people want to do it later. Doctor will also confirm the plan based on how I respond to the treatment. Thank you.
