Unfortunately, I have not had many positive experiences with chiropractors. I have friends who swear by them. Guess I'm in the unlucky percentage.

Yeah, there are many approaches and you definitely have to find one that you trust. I live in "chiropractic capital" (Davenport, IA) where we have the largest school of chiropractic (Palmer) in the country. My chiropractor uses the Gonstead method exclusively. I've been to others who use varying apparatus and technique but the two I have seen for over 25 years are pure gold to me.
