I haven't come across a study with the combo but I didn't actively search for it. My understanding from the readings is that vaginal delivery of estrogen is localized delivery which has minimal systemic absorption or effect, while transdermal or oral estrogen is systemic and would have some uro-vaginal effects. From personal experience the uro-vaginal effect was within days after initiating low dose E2 patches.
