Hi,
Does anyone know of any live Zoom support groups for folks with PMR?

Welcome @wren1003, @nancy53 mentioned a PMR & GCA Facebook group that had a zoom meeting in another discussion but I haven't seen one here on Connect. There are quite a few different discussions in the Polymyalgia Rheumatica (PMR) Support Group if you would like to look for discussions on a particular question or topic related to PMR. PMRGCAuk has an online support group that holds online meetings the 4th Wednesday of the month and open to everyone - https://pmrgca.org.uk/online-support/.

I was diagnosed with PMR in late December 2023. I was put on 20mg of Prednisone in January 2024. Happy to report that I am at 1.5mg as of a week ago, not without some pain, but completely tolerable.

Diet, exercise, and mindset have enabled me to carry on reasonably well. Yoga and swimming were a God send at the beginning.

This support group has been another source of great strength for me. The information and fellowship shared has made PMR not quite so scary.
