Have you experienced side effects from Metformin 500 mg 2xDay?

Has anyone experienced excessive sleepiness or lassitude or other bad side effects from 2 Metformin 500 mg per day? Or any side effects from Trulicity?

I was diagnosed as a Type 2 Diabetic three years ago. Metformin gives me diarrhea, which I hate! I have been seeing alternative options to help stop using Metformin all together. Have others used any of these alternatives? It seems the Pancreas's health is key...

I was diagnosed as a Type 2 Diabetic three years ago. Metformin gives me diarrhea, which I hate! I have been seeing alternative options to help stop using Metformin all together. Have others used any of these alternatives? It seems the Pancreas's health is key...

When I quit metformin due to horrible side effects I went on glimepiride and have no side effects. It controls my blood sugar very well and is easy to adjust dose as you go up or down on prednisone.

When I quit metformin due to horrible side effects I went on glimepiride and have no side effects. It controls my blood sugar very well and is easy to adjust dose as you go up or down on prednisone.

has anyone had bad side effects to Metformin 500 two times per day? I wonder if my daytime fatique, and sleepiness is caused by Metformin 500.

I was diagnosed type 2 and started on 500mg 2x a day. Had terrible gastric issues and Dr said to take my dose after a meal. That has really helped and only occasional distress now . I assume it’s from eating the wrong thing.
