Burning Mouth Syndrome (BMS): Anyone found any relief?

I've had BMS since August 2024. I believe mine started when my doctor added sertraline to my medications. None of the usual medical reasons (vitamin deficiency, dental, etc) are indicated as a cause. I have asked to stop sertraline. She is recommending replacing it with amitryptiline, which also is a treatment for BMS. I have agreed to the change but it has not been ordered yet. I am hopeful that getting rid of the sertraline will start healing the BMS.

I have dealt with burning mouth syndrome for years with doctors and dentists saying it's no such thing. I also have multiple chemical sensitivities and now I am tasting any fragrance or chemical that I come in contact with. The burning mouth is exacerbated. I am miserable. I have reached out to Mayo Clinic and they say they don't deal with it and the fragrance/chemical is also considered a phantom disease.

I am on amitriptyline nowand hasn't helped me.
