Hello Lynnevb, I was diagnosed in 2008 with ET and have been on Anagrelide for that amount of time. No side effects at all, so pleased with that. Also, on 100mg of aspirin per day. Just before Christmas, I had a Bone Marrow test and am getting full results tomorrow when I see my new hematologist . Also, on a small dose of HRT. I have diabetes 2 and have blood tests every 3 months, for diabetes and ET. Feel like a pin cushion. Don't get sick over Christmas, my GP just phoned me today, second call, regarding extremely high platelets. So, on 300mg x 2 a day and starting Hydrae. Have been on Hydrae and extra aspirin for 4 days and platelets have gone up again. They have gone up because I had not been on any tablets for ET for 5 weeks. Due to Christmas and new hematologist and Bone Marrow test, hopefully they will get a proper treatment plan in action tomorrow, fingers crossed.
