That is interesting, and it sounds like those socks are a blessing. Was wearing them compatible with shoes or did you find you could walk safely with just the socks?
I use a foot-sized electric heating pad every night of the year -- otherwise the pain and frigidness of my feet would keep me up all night. In the morning I wake up with no foot pain at all, but during the daytime it comes and goes.
