Hello. I recommend you get help with respite care. There are many agencies that provide this service. Sometimes private or Medicare insurance will offer this to the caretaker of the insured. Good luck , and yes care for yourself, It’s easy to neglect your own health, physical and mental when caring for a dementia patient. Remember if you are not well, you won’t be able to help anyone…please receive a big bear hug from me. And let me tell you how blessed your husband is for having you as his mate.
