I don't know if they specifically add moisture to my lips but in the wintertime I use Vaseline or Carmex but prefer the Carmex due to the smell of Vaseline. Either one prevents/helps chapped lips for me.

@trixie5141 I use a rich Vitamin E cream as needed. My lips suffered as the result of teenage years spent outside with no sunscreen. I have "farmer's lip" as a result. Our lips are very sensitive, slow to heal, quick to become a problem. I carry different lip balms with me all the time.

What have you tried on your lips?
Ginger

I've tried Vaseline, Burts, Carmex, and such. They seem to protect but not so much hydrate. Thanks for suggesting Vitamin E; worth a try.

Mary Kay makes an extra emollient night cream that soothes my lips. It’s for the face but I use it on my feet as well. I give my grandchildren small tubes to carry in their back packs. They live in a cold climate & they say it soothes their lips.

@trixie5141 I use organic coconut oil on my lips every day and night. I have the huge tub from Costco because I use it all over my body too for dry skin! I transfer a few large spoonfuls into a smaller jar to keep in the bathroom and refill the small jar as and when it empties.

Healing and Soothing:
If you’re dealing with dry, cracked, or chapped lips, zinc oxide-infused lip balms can work wonders. Its soothing properties help alleviate discomfort and promote healing.
Barrier Function:
Zinc oxide creates a protective barrier on your lips, locking in moisture and preventing further moisture loss. This property is especially crucial in harsh weather conditions or when facing wind and cold.
