Here is a link on a few cancer treatments derived from plants that are being studied/used: https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/abs/pii/B9780128161517000132 Plant-based chemicals have an advantage in that effects on our bodies are at least somewhat known. Even eating 20 ppm of gliadin, hordein, or glutenin proteins in grasses ramps up my autoimmune system to attack me (gluten molecules in wheat, rye, and barley [celiac]). All life is chemistry (a relative once was irked at me because he mistakenly thought I meant "only").
