I’m thinking about RFA but can’t get past the thought of burning the nerve that controls the bowel and bladder !? I guess I’m not bad enough to take the risk yet. I have enough problems already !!!

I totally understand and if your pain hasn’t gotten that bad, that’s wonderful 🙂

They do not burn the nerve that handles bowel and bladder functions if it is done correctly. They destroy the part of the nerve that sends pain impulses to the brain. You need to have it done with guided imagery by a specialist in PN.

this uses radio frequency waves to ire and stun the nerve - not burn the nerve. Simply disables it for 8 months or more. Each time it came back it was less intense
