Muchas gracias por compartir su experiencia.
Tengo 59 años y me acaban de detectar osteoporosis. T -3,7.
No quiero tomar medicación. Solo vitamina D3, ya que la tengo muy baja y empezar con un plan de entrenamiento con peso, además de caminatas y pilates.
Mañana veré a mi endocrina, para comprobar los resultados de las últimas pruebas.
Gracias por compartir
@FL Mary
You are doing well with exercise.
Do you have any knee osteoarthritis as that can put a damper on exercise.
Have you always exercised during your life?
Hello FL Mary,
I just happened upon this site. I hope this finds you well.
I also do not want to take any drugs...my choice; even though the doctors say I need to now. My lumbar spine score just came back -3.4. I was very upset about this but really want to try to make this number better without meds. I started to go to a gym (just need to make sure they give me the correct exercises for my spine). I just realized what I have doing at home for Yeats was all wrong (touching toes, twisting etc). I wonder if that made my number worse??
Can you tell me what you do for supplements? I take a vitamin D3 (2000 units) daily. I am also on a statin and aspirin so need to make sure other supplements are okay to take with those. Any information you can give would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you!

What are inflammatory foods?
I know it is not good to eat too much sugar.
I have "Bursitis" & think it must be connected in
some way with diet.
I am 80+ and always feel better with exercise but do
take Calcium & Alendronate ( prescription). Kay
