I took Lyrica years sho. Results were that it were as if I were in a fog. As I was driving home, a great fog surrounded me in sunny Florida. I was scared & had to talk myself home/you can do this, just straight ahead. When home, I threw it out & never took it again. Gabapentin 3 times a day really help me now. I also took Cymbalta and it was horrible to get off of. Plus it didn’t help.

I had Lyrica recommended to me by a friend who just loves it and says that it’s changed her whole life.
I tried Gabapentin and that didn’t help and the pain started getting worse while I was on it. Then I tried Lyrica and it caused me to feel drunk all the time…Staggering, wobbling, it did not stop the pain. I was taking 75 mg once a day and I couldn’t walk without wobblingand crashing into the wall. Additionally, the Lyrica made me extremely hungry. I was eating constantly and I’m already obese. So I stopped after one week.
Now I’m taking 50 mg of Naltraxone at night… it seems to have taken the edge off the pain. What is the usual dosage for chronic pain? Any side affects?
