You sure are lucky. I just got off the phone with the receptionist at the pain clinic. I was treated like I had asked for tons of pain killers. I did no such thing . She was so upiity and mean on the phone. I am going to be 76. I have yet to become a drug addict and I won't in the future. You better believe those Congressmen don't have to beg. They are delivered to their sweet hands. Its we little guys who are paying the price for the druggies.

Oh and by the way. She had to be about 15. What does a 15 or 16 year old child have to say to this seasoned Old Lady???

At 77, I am not an abuser of my drugs! Not my fault some people chose to get 'high' or whatever. So now my pain increases since drugs are reduced.

I agree with you. There are areas of medicel care to deal with drug abuse. Pain management needs to be treated on an individual basis for whatever disease, etc. We dont need government intrusion or influence. It's affected what drugs my pharmacy will order. I'm sick & definitely dont have the energy to deal with it.

Cloe, I understand how you feel. I went to grocery store with my kids tonight. I became very I'll. It's not vomiting it is weakness and trying to work thru pain

Please clarify what you mean by "writing your own scripts". If you're talking about prescriptions, you can't do that legally. A physician must write prescriptions for you. If you mean something else, please explain.

Sorry, but that was not me. You better check further on this. I also wrote the person an email and told them it could not be done. I honestly think it was someone just playing with us. Of course that is illegal. Please check the messages as I don't want anyone to think that was me.

Amen. I remember the women who was successful in Oregon to bring the Bill to the State lever on Marijuana. She was in pain every minute of her life. How she did it and worked thru a about 4 years of people saying no, is beyond me. She was a saint. Eventually, she won her fight. Probably not remember by many that it was her in pain fighting for all of us.

@schnauzerkid I do not have a history of drug abuse and being treated like a criminal is discriminating. As always been this way as those abusing set the standards for the masses. Discouraged.
