Supplements that are helpful but don't cost a boatload?

I have been doing some research both from personal posts on this blog but also in journals. I have found a reasonable amount of research backing NAC and NAD. There is also a supplement touted by Dr. Drew Pinsky and others (don't remember the name--how odd for me...) with the idea of removing spike proteins from our systems (these are created by what the vaccine does in our bodies and cause inflammation and fatigue and cognitive decline). What are your thoughts about the supplements? I already take Vit D, Mag, Zinc, B Complex and NAC, thinking about adding NAD.

My son has just started a detox program consisting of the above to help remove the spike protein. It's a long process but hopefully it works. We tried everything else with no success

Unfortunately I have not found supplements to be helpful. Do you have a profound effect such as NAD plus and PQQ which can get you revved up but in my situation I'm very sensitive even a sip of coffee Will have an effect. It's all individual so go ahead and try something and see what happens other others I know have been helped symptom wise no supplement is going to cure all your symptoms and get rid of a gear long covid.

I have tried SO many supplements. Vit d, curcumin, green lipped mussels, folic acid, NAC, ashwaganda, ginger, nattokinase, broccoli sprout powder, and so many more. I have had absolutely no help from any of these. It’s been over two years. Also must say that none of the toxic drugs that I’ve tried have done anything either. It’s a very frustrating place to be.

Because I learned from a study out of a University in Canada that many of us have suffered damage to our mitochondria, I now take an assortment of Amino Acids. Some have been very helpful; particularly in the beginning. I do take take a lot of supplements overall; actually something to support every single 'system' in my body. I'm 82 years old; a female and 4 years battling Long Covid.
At one point I was suffering from myasthenia gravis symptoms and learned that a Chinese Herb (astragalas) is helpful for muscle strength. And...it *IS* helpful. Also...I take D-3 plus K to protect my kidneys.
These are just to name a few. And, most do not cost very much. (it's just that I have to take so many things... 🙁 that creates the financial hardship)
My best to everyone.

On the boatload part of your question what I’ve been doing for quality and price (so many choices are a crap shoot on quality and I’ve found YouTube as a source for advice on quality and in a few cases medical professionals) is Amazon subscription pricing. Self advocating and doing what you believe to be right is unfortunately expensive.

Oh my, you sound like me. I have taken everything I can think of and everything I hear on this support group to help me recover from this virus. I started taken PEA Supplement and Inositol Supplement everyday. Research on how to take. Inositol helps with your sugar, so check with your doctor if on medication for your sugar. I take the powder form and I have been taking it for 8 weeks and I am starting to feel much better even good. I am able to stay focused. As for being able to eat again., I had to take a prebiotic and probiotic and enzymes daily. Of course I continue to take all my daily vitamins, minerals, etc. and ginger.
