Fibromyalgia pain: Let's connect
Is there anyone here that suffers from fibro? I had the 'tender spot test' several years ago and I had 17 out of the 18. I try my hardest to get through the pain with my 4 hydrocodone/acetaminaphine pills a day, Tiger Balm rubbed into areas that are the worst, light exercises, and distracting myself with hobbies or chores, etc; but there are many occasions where none of that helps and I spend most of the day holding down the couch, getting up about 30-45 minutes after that, walking/standing around the house for 15-20 minutes, or sitting for about 15-30 min. I do not drive and my husband works 6 days a week, overtime almost every day, so I'm alone a lot. my wonderful husband is very supportive and I am very grateful for that, but my only other friends are online, out of state, and I will probably never even get to meet them. when extreme pain takes over, my depression takes over and it is so difficult to find hope. does anyone have tips for fibro, whether diet or over-the-counter meds (I've tried them all, I think), or anything, besides hobbies and such? I've tried every over-the-counter med, and the Tiger Balm does cover some of what the pain pill doesn't help, but I'm hoping one of our members might have some knowledge that could help. I'd really appreciate it.

I had to drop my long term insurance and I list two rentals I owned. Made me sick.
@lioness @oregongirl @parus My husband retired from the Navy with 30 years of service so I was used to moving a good deal. I too have given or tossed things away in the name of downsizing. Then when I finally am moved in to my 'forever' home, I am looking for things I gave away! The silly things we do!
That's for sure,it now we b not bad them or the money
Sorry about your LTI I'm so blessed my son pays mine ,he doesn't want to when I need it so before he married he took it out for me .
I have Humana they have PPL plans also but I opted for the HMO yes the co,-pay on meds are 7.00 ,others are 0.00 you should look into it Humana also gives you 75.00 each quarter. towards OTC meds like aspirin etc
Thanks I will.
Lucky you. I asked my kids to take over a 300,000 life insurance. They never responded and I let it go. It WD have meant 100,00 to each child. They are to busy to think of the older years.
Hi!
Sorry it took so long to answer you.
I am actually scheduled for surgery next Wednesday morning. I am currently doing all the pre-op stuff. I pray this is the answer!

Yes, you can order a booklet. The website is also helpful. Or,. you can also place a phone call. I have found that the reps there are very nice and helpful!

Hi!
My hubby and I have moved many times over our 40+ years of marriage. I have become an expert in packing and unpacking. I can pack up a house very quickly!
We are now in what I believe will be our last home (until we can no longer take care of ourselves). When we moved this last time, my husband had to do all the packing. He purged like crazy. Anything we didn't use in a period of time he got rid of. He unpacked. Now, when I look for something, I knew we had, it is gone (because he got rid of it) or he put it somewhere I can't find it.
Guess I cannot complain. He is a God sent.
