Have found that this condition has constant new, symptoms, some quite bizarre. Afraid to tell any doctor, because fear they will think i'm crazy. But i have taken so much prednisone, over the years, & i know this drug does bad things to skin & all connective tissue, below. But it's very disconcerting, & most doctor's would find highly, unusual?

Hi Lauren- Archie here…

Crazy is right! I woke up the other day and was sure my bed would be wet because I sensed WATER running down my left leg below the knee. Turns out it was just AA talking to me again— meaning a sensation caused by nerve damage! So we deal with stuff that others can’t understand. I was once hired by a company in Dallas (I was in WI at the time) and tried to find a new Dr. The first 3 I went to accused me of- out loud— of faking it and just seeking drugs like a junkie. That makes you feel great!
Regarding Prednisone, sure constant usage is damaging, but used as prescribed, however long between Rx’s, would seem to be safe. You know the drill, 4 10mg tabs for 3 days, then 3 for 3, 2 for3, etc. I have had literally 100’s of cortisone shots as well since 1975, and have no deleterious effects. I’m not your physician, but you may be worrying needlessly and adding stress to your life. Probably smoking would kill someone sooner! God Willing, medial protocol will protect you from harm from prednisone. Till next time-Archie

large support groups for arachnoiditis, on Facebook. I've been locked out of my account for suspicious activity (sure it was me) But have not been able to upload a new ID, with numerous attempts. But go to Facebook. Sure u will get more support...hundreds with this condition
