I think it is exciting that you are planning a trip home to England in 2025!
I'm not sure that that it is possible to be "too optimistic", after all you have prepared and received your kidney transplant in order to live a normal life again. I'm so appreciative of the our transplant members who have already shared and provided you with their transplant travel tips.

Maggie, I would encourage you to share your plans with your transplant team. I don't think it is too early, and they will likely have suggestions for you based on your transplant progress, as well as helpful advice so that you can begin to plan.
When do you see them again?

My understanding is that the doctors usually want you to wait at least 6 to 12 months. But you should check with your transplant team for guidelines and advice for your own particular situation since individual situations vary from person to person,
