I did not have any problems with my ablation. I wanted one because I was tired of being cardioverted- 4 times in 9 months. After reading long term effects of taking anti arrhythmic meds I was glad to be off of them. My cardiologist and EP doctor offered the ablation for the same reasons. My EP doctor said some people need a “tune up” down the line after the ablation. It has been 10 months and no more afib or problems. Fingers crossed.
