I would also be interested about any side effects with the Evenity. After reading some of these comments, I am wondering if I should just continue with the Generic brand of Forteo, but had been planning on switching to Evenity after 6 months, as I have already completed 24 months of Forteo several years ago and was worried about risks of second course of it. I took Evenity injections for 6 months and the entire time I had severe headaches and bad insomnia. I could only sleep
1-2 hours at a time for a total of 4 each night. I told my endocrinologist I can’t live like this anymore and am stopping the injections. She said I am her first patient to have these side effects which really bums me out because I was really hoping Evenity would work for me.
I had another Dexa scan that showed minimal improvement so I did not finish the last 6 months.
So now I’m just concentrating on my diet and weight bearing exercise hoping that will stop my bones from getting worse
