I don't believe smoking pot helps my pain. If anything, it makes me more aware of discomfort. But that is me, and everyone is different. I would Never try to drive after smoking, while I believe that my motor skills and reaction time are barely affected by pain meds. The rub-in CBD oils help, I think, but it is very short-term relief. Good morning @robbinr,
Just want to be informative here…..very few, if any, chronic pain Medical Marijuana users ‘smoke' pot. Different potencies of beneficial MM are available in edibles, vape oils, topicals, and other delivery systems that I may not have mentioned (old memory here). The staff at the dispensaries are very good at helping clients choose the right products and at the right strength. In states like MN patients must meet with a pharmaceutical counselor before beginning medical marijuana treatment of any kind. Their inventory doesn’t even include what are commonly called rolls or joints.
Hang in there….help is out there………
Happy Day,
Chris
