It looks as though the Jardiance manufacturer offers a co-pay card which allows the holder to pay a $10 copay for a 30 to 90 day supply of Jardiance. The qualifications for this card are that the person must be a US ( or Puerto Rican, IIRC) resident, have a prescription drug plan through a private insurance company, and not have a drug plan through a government program such as Medicare, Medicaid or Tricare. This works with the insurance, and they say the card can be renewed. I use a similar card to pay a co-pay of $10 for a 30 day supply of Eliquis- my drug plan is through my secondary insurance, federal employees BC/BS, which is a private insurance provider.
Might be worth checking out for those with a private drug plan

I’m also are starting on Jardiance and it is very costly. It cost between $800-$1000 most places. I am seriously considering getting it online from Canada. You can find very reputable and legitimate online pharmacies in Canada that are certified and sell it for under one hundred dollars. You get the script from your doctor and mail it in or fax maybe. Like I said, I am seriously considering this, but I have not actually done it yet so I don’t know the process but I am going to talk to my doctor on Monday about it. They are registered and certified by Canada. I’ll keep posting what I learn. Is anyone interested? Feel free to add useful information to this post. Thank you

Hello to all, I recently began taking Jardiance for another heart issue. Local pharmacy (Walmart)price was $440.00. We found it at wall greens for a third of that but Northwest Pharmacy in B.C is $144.00 for a 90 day supply. My PA at Mayo gave me a Rx and I did receive my supplies from Canada. At first they quoted me list price but when I mentioned the price I had looked up they agreed to the $144 price. Hope this helps someone.
