Can brain infection come from infected teeth?

FIRST I GOT AN INFECTED TOOTH. THE DENTIST SAID 5 DAYS OF ANTIBIOTICS IS NOT ENOUGH. THEN IT GOT INTO MY JAWBONE AND WENT INTO MY EARS CAUSING MUCUS LIQUID COMING OUT OF MY EAR ON THE SIDE THE BAD TOOTH WAS ON. THEN THE INFECTION SPREAD TO THE JAWBONE AND THEN INTO MY HEARING AS A RINGING AND FINALLY INTO MY INNER EAR TO CAUSE VERTIGO. SIMILAR TO DOING AEROBATICS IN A PRIVATE AIRPLANE. NOW I AM SLOWLY GOING DEAF BRAIN INFECTION SEEMS TO BE AGRIVATED BY COVID-19 AS WELL AS SHINGLES ON LEFT SIDE OF BODY. JB

I got very sick following sinus surgery, and most of my symptoms are in my nose (pressure, pain, burning, massive post nasal drip), so we’ve been chasing ENT docs and diagnoses. CT scans and nose scopes look ok, so we’re just now putting 2+2 together regarding possible bone infection from the infected root canal. My general doctor is new to my problem and she’s also not sure if this is dental, ENT, or osteomyelitis. I had very poor follow up from my original ENT who didn’t try to solve my post surgical illness saying “I’ve never seen someone so sick after surgery in my 30 years”, and let me go to try to figure it out on my own. So now I’m here trying to team up with my new doctor to solve this.

I HAVE IT AND IO CANNOT GET ANY DOCTORS TO GIVE ME MEDICINES TO CURE IT AND SO MY HEARING IS NOW GOING TO HELL FAST. VERTIGO ALSO COMES AND GOES.

Very worried about you. I got bacterial meningitis of my brain from chronic sinusitis in May 2014. Craniotomy done to remove access left temporal lobe. I was in a medically induced coma intubated septic multi organ failure . I was coded. I had ENT doctor visits after my hospital and nursing home discharge 5 years of allergy treatments . I caught up on my dental care. My teeth are cleaned every 4 months. I use a neilmed sinus rinse with about a 1/t teaspoon of white vinegar 2 to 4 times daily. A heoa filter runs in our rv 24/7. I use a hepa vacuum. What happened to me was a good life changing event in hindsight but I would not recommend it. Can you get to a neurologist asap?

Very concerned about what you are going through! Have you been able to see a neurologist? Are you able to maybe travel for better access for healthcare with well trained and experienced physicians? Please continue to be aggressive in seeking care......squeaky wheels!
