Diagnosed with epiglottis Squamous cell cancer

I looked it up. There are many posts on this topic. A PET scan is the only scan i have not had. I hope what they find is manageable.

Hi! Just to clarify- squamous cells are just the type of cell, you want to find peeps with the location of the cancer- throat etc. I have rectal squamous cell cancer, which is treated differently than other rectal cancers (it is actually treated like anal cancer ). Your PET scan will show if your cancer has spread to other parts of your body. God bless and stay strong!

Hi. In 2023, I was diagnosed with squamous cell cancer on my vocal cords. They were able to treat the cancer with radiation treatments. The radiation did what it was supposed to do and the cancer was removed. I have been getting checked every three months and there is no evidence of the cancer.
