@julia725, fenbendazole is an antiparasitic drug used in veterinary medicine to treat animal gastrointestinal parasites. There are many stories circulating on social media about using it to treat cancer because preliminary research is investigating the use of fenbendazole in cancer.
The use of fenbendazole for cancer is still experimental, and more studies are needed to determine its success and safety in humans.

If considering fenbendazole, please talk to your oncologist.
@julia725, have you talked with your husband's oncologist about clinical trials that may be suitable for him?
We are having Massive Bio look for clinical trials. We have no interest in using fenbendazole but a friend mentioned it and I was curious if anyone tried it. As you know, you have to at least investigate all options. Thank you for responding. I read the Healthline article as well.
Hi Julia,
I have a pancreatic recurrence. PET Scan next week to see how wide spread. I have been researching Fenbendazole. The is a Johns Hopkins study on a similar drug called Mebendazole: https://www.hopkinsmedicine.org/news/newsroom/news-releases/2021/08/johns-hopkins-study-anti-parasitic-drug-slows-pancreatic-cancer-in-mice
The Fenbendazole story is Joe Tippen’s story and is compelling. You can see that on his blog.
Good luck!
Tippens was reportedly participating in an immunotherapy clinical trial at the MD Anderson Cancer Center at the time he began using fenbendazole. Immunotherapy is an advanced form of cancer treatment that boosts the body’s immune system to fight cancer cells. Being that his experiment is n=1, let alone no control patient nor enough data to draw a valid conclusion as to whether it was the immunotherapy clinical trial for his non-small cell lung cancer which is different then pancreatic cancer.
Fenbendazole is formulated for veterinary use. The human equivalent biosimilar drug is Mebendazole. Here is what happens when people with no pharmacology background experiment on themselves with products not formulated for humans-
Liver damage from Fenbendazole
https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/38706451/
.
Think carefully as drug/drug and drug/supplement interactions can have consequences. Damage to the liver would mean having to pause chemo. Permanent damage would terminate cancer treatment. Bad decisions can have bad consequences and there might not be a “do-over” moment.
Thanks.

Thank you for that. Couldn’t tell from the article how long the person had been taking the med before the jaundice showed up. Do you know? I have a friend in Idaho who took it for 2 weeks and then her dr took her off it. She has an autoimmune disease, no cancer. She says she took the human version of it, but didn’t give me a drug name.
The human version of fenbendazole is Membendazole available only by prescription.
“ Upon further inquiry, she admitted to taking fenbendazole for the past year. She had been self-administering three 1 g packets of fenbendazole granules thrice weekly”
Really? Yes, super dangerous. My friend did by rx. I don’t think it gave any relief, though.
Julia - I asked my Dr about it and he said " As this is a repurposed drug , there are little studies on it and how it works of cancer cell division, also it is very cheap so many drug companies dont study it per se . I have read some good things on it and other things , but it you want to try it we can for a 2-3 month period , only three times a week, not to irritate your liver . It will be well tolerated by you, I suspect, given your profile. Three days a week you can take it. After 3 months we can re-look at your PSA and other markers . " Well after 3 months , PSA went down significantly , I felt fine and no negative affects. My Dr was even surprised at how well FenBen worked to lower PSA on me . He made extensive notes in his Urological notebook and said he was goign to suggest to a couple other patients they try it . I am not a Dr , but it worked for me . Have a discussion with your Dr about it , and other therapies that you think will benefit you . I missed a lecture last night on Cannabis and health benefits of CBD and THC . I hope to hear the lecture soon on YouTube ! Dont know if there is any hard evidence to date . At least people are talking about alternative that "may" work. All positive to discuss such things - Hope it works for some .
