Lioness. I am so sorry for you. I have episodes or flares. Some last a couple of days and some a month or more. I feel older than I am. I am 75. I have given up on pretending I don't hurt. I think pretending I am pain fee just to get thru a dinner with family is not worth it
Thanks for your words I'm 75 ,today I feel like an old women Im usually very active.I'll get past this, always do but it's nice to hear some others know what I'm going thru today. Thanks Lioness
Sounds like Neuropathy, I have it in both legs,I have to sit down in the shower and sit to brush my teeth. when my feet burn I sit with them on an ice pack. What helps the calves sometimes is a cream for sore muscles. CVS makes one called exactly that. Muscle Rub in a green box. Theres also Ben Gay.I have Fibromyalgia too but I don't think the fibromyalgia is in the calves. Its terrible to ache all the time. 24/7.First thing Get a Nerve Conduction Test. That will tell you wether you have Neuropathy or not.Its a process of iliminatiom.Good Luck. from the sunny state
I have a low back injury that has caused the same exact symptoms but I think its exasperated by the fibro. Especially the neuropathyI my feet..
