Is Cutaneous T-Cell Lymphoma a Death Sentence?

I am waiting for my biopsy report to be completed, however it appears I will get a diagnosis of CTCL. I primarily have a rash on my back which I’ve had for maybe 8 months. No other real symptoms. What should I do nex? I within an hour of UVa which had a specialty department and plan to followup there. What should I expect for followup? Thanks.

Hi Wendy, @hariet1. Somehow this post snuck past me! So let me wish you a delayed Welcome to Connect! What did you find out from your biopsy? Do you have CTCL?

There are subtypes to this condition that can warrant their own treatments. Were you able to get a firm diagnosis and begin treatment? (This may be helpful for other members) Was your diagnosis through a dermatologist or oncologist?
