So funny to know that I have this odd thing happen 2- days ago! I already have permanent holes in both eardrums- wore hearing aids for 35 years and was getting wax impaction removal every 3- months. Retired early during COVID. Quit wearing hearing aids as too many issues with impaction. Anyways, I became violently ill with the fle 3- days ago. The thumping in right ear would not stop. I related it to a drum beating only in right ear. I’m seeing my ent in January and will be sure and question him about this. I already have tinnitus and have conditioned myself to ignore this obnoxious ringing in my ears. Seems I have had issues since birth- multiple tubes/ tried patching- end result defective eustation tubed! Anyways, I will be sure and post my ents answer on January 9 th when I have my regular scraping out the wax buildup. Will be sure and post it. The thumping has stopped- so that is a blessing! But have had it off and on over the years! Hang in there!!!
