@newyorknill, I thought of something else that I might not have shared. My retina doctor was not giving me Eylea injections. The injection I was getting was Lucentis.
I remember that once, I was given Eylea, and as soon as the doctor realized it, he became very concerned. I had to wait in the office for observation for a while but don't remember the details. Anyway, I was okay, He wanted me to call him if I had any reaction - which I didn't. And he had me call him the next day to check in with him.
I don't know why he wanted me on the other medication. It could have been insurance? or my medical history? or my condition?
Perhaps there is another medication that you could ask the retina doctor about.

- And Please - contact the doctor about the blood shot eye and pain. Could be something or could be nothing. When was your injection? Can you call him or drop in to the office?

I always have a bloodshot eye after the injection. I've tried eating spinach and taking a vitamin K supplement before I go. I also use Lumify drops. Nothing so far has completely worked. It can last for 3 weeks and the problem is I do on camera video production for work!
