Dehydration: What helps maintain hydration with bowel issues?

Found out that my Short gut syndrome caused dehydration which caused stage 3 kidney failure.
I need to increase my fluids but not by drinking plain water. At some point I will get IV fluids 5 times a week, which will help my condition.

@tjanet Please be careful about what you use to hydrate. Sodium and glucose, along with potassium and calcium, are things to monitor in chronic kidney disease. I am a dialysis patient, My go-to for hydration is water, but I add either True Lemon or True Orange to my water, so there is some flavor.

Has your nephrologist offered any suggestions for hydration?
