Appreciated this update and others more than I could express well. I've been on Atorvastatin for some time. Have had some questions with it recently per cause and effect. Most recently wondering if taking it when I do may be contributing to Eliquis side effects I only experience in the AM following Atorvastatin admittedly after quite some time between the two. Recently I've been having major cramp challenges in my left foot primarily, the back of knees (most often only at night) and now my hands. Saw that as a side effect with Atorvastatin. One set of cramping experiences was such I went to an ER in a location I was visiting. They ran several tests for the top 4-5 situations that could cause cramping. All came out within normal ranges leaving the ER report to note that the cause seems to be the Atorvastatin and should be given in a lesser dose or a different Rx. They gave me a well written, detailed report in "people language" with that recommendation. The report was excellent. In a remote update to my MD the response was to let him know if it happened again because Atorvastatin cramps are not typically "like that". I've had the same responses to the issues with Eliquis over time and other Rx over time from MDs. I've been trying to find out where someone gets the what these respective side effects are "typically like" information .. never saw side effects labeled that way.. Any thoughts? I also add here that I tried taking Eliquis a bit later in the AM and the side effects are not as severe so far.
