Thank for your quick reply! I'm in Canada so too pricey to see a Dr. from the US (I don't even think they're allowed to give consults to those out of the country by phone or zoom), but you certainly have motivated me to get one! Did you get yours new or used? There's a sale on used ones but the warranty is only 6 months 🙁

A new one is still cheaper than the cost of the drugs for a year, though.

You’re welcome. We got our Marodyne new.

Dr. McCormick, who isn’t in my US state and isn’t licensed here, is not my doctor, he is actually a consultant and as such could work with you as well. His rates are shown at Osteonaturals.com

Also, do you mind telling me what your DEXA scores were before starting the Marodyne? And have you taken bio-identical hormones too? Many thanks, Lisa

Are you trying to increase bone density? If so the Marodyne has not been proven to increase bone density. It was supposed to be used for NASA but since it didn't work to maintain or increase bone density they chose something else.

I can't locate all the information and place it in one concise post, but I believe even their website does not claim to increase bone density. I forgot the wording. But in other places I read things that don't say, proven to"increase bone density."

There is/was a current study which might be one that finally settles the issue, but for $3K I need proof that it works on it's own.

So many observations have included other practices like weight bearing exercise and medications - bottom line I have yet to see any research done using it alone to determine if it is effective.

I chose not to buy it based on the research I did.
