Good morning
I'm a liver transplant patient but can help with this question. My bone density had been declining for years due to my failed liver. Post transplant my Dr started me on twice a year prolia injections. My 1st post transplant density test (which I'll be honest I don't remember how long after starting the prolia it was) there was a noticeable improvement. Now I take it as a preventative measure. I don't do any special preparation before my injection, which is done in my Dr's office. 🤗

HI @footballmum 😊
Happy Thanksgiving and thank you so much for your response regarding Prolia! My current bone scan is showing severe osteoporosis, so my doctor suggests that I do another bone growth treatment like Evenity for one year before starting Prolia. It's very comforting to know that Prolia is working so well for you with no side
effects. I wonder if I should try the Evenity or just go directly to Prolia. Do you remember if your bone scan was osteopenia or osteoporosis? My spine is currently-3.1 so I may need Evenity first?
Thank you again for jumping in to tell me about your successful Prolia shots. That's valuable information for me!
