Oh my! I did not an option like this was available! The indoor blue light is incredibly painful. The outdoor treatment sounds far better. I will ask my dermatologist about this. Thank you.

If you do a Google search for Metvix or for photodynamic daylight therapy you’ll find YouTube videos which illustrate the treatment procedure.

My wife had this treatment for the same reason and it was pretty painful. In her case, her lips were impacted. I am wondering whether when you had your treatment, did they do anything to protect your lips from the light and/or the cream?
