Thanks for sharing the positive experience. Can I ask what Mayo campus is he being treated at?
My 77 yr old mother has MDS and is currently at Mayo-LaCrosse, was seen at Rochester also, but will get treatment in LaCrosse for now. Also, what treatment is he receiving now? Mom is going to start Azacitidine and Venetoclax after Thanksgiving.

He is being treated at the Luther Campus in Ean Claire by Dr. Hutab. The
spelling my not be accurate.

At 79 I to am on vidza and Vento since December 2023 due principally to blasts exceeding minimum for AML. Admitted to hospital for 30 days to administer first chemo dose which can create a life threatening toxic syndrome so it can quickly be responded to.
I was in awful shape. It came on so fast. I go to OCSRI in Tulsa OK. I'm on my 12th cycle. With 5 mutuations recent labs show my blood #s returning to normal more each cycle. I am so grateful 🙏 for OCSRI, St John and both staffs that support the oncologist....they are beautiful people.
Bless you on the rest of your journey indeed u r in good 🙌 hands. Happy Thanksgiving 😊
PS. I confused two comments so excuse me, the important thing is sharing info.
