To everyone in a situation like this, while you are waiting for answers, do these three things: 1. Love that child unconditionally . In every way that matters.2. Read with and to your child. Books are an education in themselves. 3. Widen the boundaries of your tribe. The ones who celebrate you and your child, and do not simply tolerate you.

I grew up knowing that even if the entire world was against me, I knew my Mama and Daddy loved me. And some of the church people went out of their way for me. I had one dear sister in the church who came to every piano recital. She impacted my world.

Prayers and love sent your way.

Thank you so much, that's what I do, I try my very best to alway be patient and understanding of him and his needs, it's impossible to keep him from all the harshness, he's so very innocent and I've seen children in my own family mistreat him but I'm trying to create a safe space for him and surround us with people who love and care for us and will stand with and support us always. I appreciate your prayers and love.
