I have been using a Marodyne for almost 4 years since finding out on my first DEXA scan that I had osteoporosis which was a shock since I was a runner. I got a DEXA scan after two years of 3x per day use of the Marodyne device. My scan showed significant improvement in both femoral and spinal T-Scores. It was an increase in bone mass of 8.8% in the hip and 3.9% in the spine. This is practically unheard of from what I've been told without medication. Now I'm -2.2 in the femur and -3.0 in the spine. My score actually went from osteoporotic to osteopenic in the femur. The endocrinologist was so surprised - she kept asking me to verify that I was not taking any medications for osteoporosis. The only other thing I'm doing is taking genistein supplements along with vitamin D, boron, and mushroom extract supplements (combined) Maitake, shiitake, Turkey Tail. I am getting another Dexa after a two-year interval this month. If I just hold steady at this point, I'll be very pleased. I also do yoga modified for those with osteoporosis and walk about 5 miles per day. I think the Marodyne is really working.

Great story--thanks so much! I"m deciding on buying one as my DEXA is really bad! I have a couple questions but check my email more often thatn here. Are you able to email me at yogicheart at gmail that would be much appreciated 🙂

Also what are genistein supplements ?

ps. are you taking bio-identical hormones too?

That is wonderful!!! Please let us know here on this forum, when you get your Dexa results! Do you still run? I'm going to take up serious walking too. I had a bicycle crash 3 months ago and fractured my hip; didn't know it until an MRI last week. But it is healing and I'm hoping not to need surgery. I'm thinking walking may be best at least until I get my bones built-up. This is so promising! I love hearing real stories about Marodyne! Thanks again!
