My hubby has MGUS, a potential precursor to Multiple Myeloma, and has been having nosebleeds -- even after having cauterization two weeks ago. Can you please tell us how MM causes nosebleeds? Any links??

Hi @grrranny. When I had leukemia, I didn’t realize at the time, but one of my first symptoms was nose bleeds. They were miserable so I really empathize with your husband!

When there’s a change in blood numbers, such as a reduction in platelets or higher levels of proteins in the blood, it can cause bruising and nose bleeds.

I found 3 good articles for you in information on MM.
