Indeed! Thankfully I made sure that he lives not just nearby, but with me under the same roof, so that I can take care of him at this age and with this condition. Hope things get better and seeing your reply and your own struggle out of it, I see there is hope and hope is everything. Hope he tolerates the medications and fights back!!

Good morning, @riteshkundu. I wanted to check in with you today to see how your dad is doing. Hopefully with the med changes his mouth sores are starting to improve. I know from experience how painful and disruptive those are…when your mouth hurts, I swear, everything hurts!

What a gift for both of you to have your dad living under the same roof. That seems to be a rarity these days. I treasured my time with my mom when she lived with us. Interesting how the roles of caregiver reverses over the years. It just feels right to be able to reciprocate the love and care given over our lifetime when our parents need extra help.

It can be challenging to be the caregiver though. Is your dad feeling stronger this week? Have there been improvement with blood numbers?
