Anyone taking Wegovy without a gallbladder?

73 Y/O Male and Weight Loss...Have lost 25 lbs., over 9 weeks...Had gallstones since 2015, minimal side effects, cruising until last week, had Gallbladder attack and removal...Q. Any info regarding Wegovy continuation without a Gallbladder?, obviously concerned for liver, pancreas, kidneys and additional unannounced issues...I have been researching options to continue, however PCP has me stopping Wegovy until I see him next week...Suggestions...Catch 22

@gatogrande, it sounds like you are pleased with the weight loss that you've had over the past 9 weeks. Congratulations. But I agree, after having experienced side effects, you are naturally concerned. You are best to follow your doctor's advice to stop Wegovy until your appointment next week. He will want to check things out and discuss next steps.

I understand that you want to continue with your weight loss. Hopefully this is just a pause so you can check your health status.

Did I understand correctly that you have had surgery to remove your gallbladder?
