I just started walking again after a 9 month furlough due to a bad hip. I had my left hip replaced at the end of August and started walking about a month ago. At the ripe young age of 67, my stamina ain't what it used to be, so it's tough ramping back up to some semblance of normalcy. I'm back to doing about a 5 mile walk with an average elev. gain of 600 feet (or so) and a 14min/mile pace, three times/ week. Had our 1st measurable snowfall here in Southern Wisconsin last night. Time for the winter slogs to begin!
