@sillyblone

I have osteoporosis which was diagnosed in 2022. I cannot belive the side effects from the drugs that I am seeing. I am reluctant to even think about it. Please pass on anything that actually works. I would appreciate your comments. Hugs to you all dealing with this !

I was told Claritin for 2-4 days. We'll see how it works

@sillyblone and others, these side effects are still within the time frame of the "acute phase reaction" that happens mostly with just the first infusion. @linda1974 @basole8 can you let us know if they fade out?

@sillyblone in my experience fractures are worse than any side effects I have encountered, but that's me. Pain and disability from fractures are life-altering.

I have done 5 years hormonal meds for cancer, 2 years Tymlos, 1/2 year Evenity and now 20% Reclast every three months (due to kidneys and afib I have low doses).

I liked Tymlos and got onto it by starting at a low dose and moving up.

Many of my friends, who never come on this forum, do fine on all these drugs. I am sensitive but most aren't.

Of course respect anyone's choices as long as the doctor, and even the forum, have made clear what the different medications do and how they function to increase bone.
