Tenderness in cartilage closer to nose bridge one side

Posted by wendap @wendap, Nov 15, 2024

I have been having nose pain/tenderness on left side of nose closer to bridge of nose. It is worse some days than others but has gotten increasingly worse over the last 3-4 weeks. Symptom started approximately 7-8 weeks ago. Thought it was my sleep mask but pain is still there when not using mask. No sinus issues at all and no swelling. No pain inside nose or at skin level really. No trauma either. Researching online has not come up with any possible answers. Thank you

Good morning. Yes I did and read back through quite a few of the posts and many comments are different than my symptom. I have zero pain into temple or eyes, zero swelling or any clogged pores for a pimple, zero sinus issues and pain not close to tip of the nose and does not move from one side to the other but has remained in same place. after owning a pharmacy for 10 years, I am not a fan of taking antibiotics when no infection signs are present. Would like to know if anyone who has dealt with nose cancer and what those symptoms are?

I was diagnosed with SCC of the nasal cavity left side. They actually had a scab on the inside of my nose took three months to get into ENT and then she didn’t even do a biopsy till a year later after it had eaten through my septum. So yes, I had tenderness on the inside of my nose, no swelling. I just thought I had a sore from having flu. The gross thing was I actually began to smell my nose rotting.
Luckily, that it was so slow growing. It also hurt my nose to be out on the cold
